A travelling university shaping the future of blockchain, Web3, and decentralized innovation.
An immersive academic experience where developers, policymakers, and industry leaders come together to explore the full potential of blockchain technology, directly from those building it.
Explore Bali 2025 EditionThrough its Campus Program, PBA became a travelling university, bringing together top-tier talent, local ecosystems, and global expertise in carefully selected locations around the world. Participants learnt directly from the engineers, researchers and other experts shaping the future of Web3.
Each edition is built around
Connecting global blockchain education with local impact.
By engaging deeply with local stakeholders, policymakers, and cultural leaders, the Campus created a meaningful connection between global innovation and regional context. This edition was designed not just as an academic program, but as a high-impact social initiative, ensuring long-term value for both participants and the local ecosystem.
Each participant followed a focused academic path, designed to address different dimensions of the blockchain ecosystem.
Advanced technical training for developers building the infrastructure of decentralized systems.
Application-layer innovation focused on creating usable, scalable decentralized products.
A program designed for policymakers and leaders navigating the intersection of blockchain and regulation.
Shaping Policy in the Age of Web3
Designed for policymakers and decision-makers seeking to understand emerging technologies and their regulatory implications.
"Following its pilot in Lucerne, the programme expanded to Bali, creating a unique environment for global dialogue and applied learning."
PBA Campus Bali was not just a temporary academic program, it was a catalyst for long-term collaboration and sustainable impact.
By activating local ecosystems and connecting them with global leaders, the initiative helped strengthen regional innovation capacity, foster cross-border partnerships, and inspire new approaches to governance and technology.
Strengthening local capacity by embedding global expertise into the Indonesian blockchain ecosystem.
Fostering durable networks between 30 countries, connecting developers, policymakers, and investors.
Inspiring new governance approaches through direct dialogue between decision-makers and technologists.
Participants at PBA Campus Bali learned directly from the people actively shaping Web3.
Engineers actively developing the Polkadot ecosystem, delivering technical depth only possible from those building the infrastructure.
Academics and researchers at the frontier of blockchain technology, contributing theoretical rigor and analytical frameworks.
Global specialists in governance, regulation, and law, bridging blockchain technology with public policy and institutional frameworks.
PBA introduced the Startup Sessions, a new initiative designed for entrepreneurial builders looking to translate their knowledge into viable ventures.
This edition integrated real-world use cases directly into the coursework, enabling participants to work on tangible challenges and apply their knowledge in real time.
Rather than simulated exercises, each cohort engaged with genuine problems drawn from the broader Web3 ecosystem, reinforcing the Academy's commitment to applied, consequential education.
Each PBA Campus is an opportunity to connect meaningfully with its host location. In Bali, this vision came to life through a collaboration with renowned local artist Monez.
Each academic track featured custom-designed patterns, symbolism rooted in local tradition, and a distinct colour palette reflecting its purpose. The PBA emblem itself was reinterpreted, integrating the Polkadot token within a Balinese floral composition, symbolising the union between global innovation and local culture.
The visual identity of the program was inspired by the Balinese philosophy of harmony between people, nature and spirit, a guiding principle woven through every visual element of the Bali edition.
